Port Windsor
Port Windsor is located on the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway System, one of the world's most efficient deep draft waterways, and is on the Detroit River opposite Detroit, Michigan. The Port is 617 miles (993 kms) from Montreal and includes over 13 miles (21.2 kms) of shoreline encompassing marine terminals, parkland, and beautiful residential neighborhoods. The industrial/marine facilities are concentrated in the western portion of the Port.
Education
Windsor & District is a great place to achieve academic excellence, advance your skills and technology training or participate in leading-edge research programs. The Windsor-Essex County community is dedicated to providing excellence in education at all levels of learning. Some 3,900 teachers in 125 elementary and 29 secondary schools consistently maintain high educational standards. The area is home to the University of Windsor and St.Clair College of Applied Arts & Technology.
